Employment Case Management
Ways to Family Self-Sufficiency, Inc. offers employment-focused case management services as part of our Family Self-Sufficiency Program for clients seeking employment, increased hours or benefits, and/or second jobs. Employment services include:
- resume writing help and critiquing
- other supportive services
In addition to employment, our Life Coaches will assist with resources for stability in housing, transportation, child care, and other life areas needed to obtain and maintain employment.
Life Coaches offer benefits pre-screening and application assistance with programs such as Food Stamps,Medical, MiCafe, WIC,and Utility Assistance.

Bridges to Employment (BTE)
Program focuses on identifying interests, abilities and strengths, and on navigating clients through Individualized Employment Plans that include education, internships, on-the-job training, and job search assistance.
Supportive services (transportation assistance, required school items, licensing fees, etc.) also available for qualifying individuals enrolled in BTE.
Family Investment Program (FIP)
This program is designed to provide a place where people can benefit from multiple reinforcing services that contribute to their overall financial stability. Financial, employment, and income support coaching services are bundled together to assist individuals in reaching goals of economic stability.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
- Stability planning (childcare, housing, transportation, etc.)
- Employment skill building (resume building, job search assistance, time management, conflict resolution, etc.)
- Navigation of educational systems
- Ongoing support for employment retention
FINANCIAL COACHING
- Budgeting and debt reduction
- Developing a savings plan and setting financial goals
INCOME SUPPORTS COACHING
Application assistance and advocacy with programs such as:
